CEO Joe Euteneuer speaks with TalkSatellite

In a recent interview with talk Satellite, Joe Euteneuer, CEO of OrbitsIQ Global (OIQ), shared how the company is redefining mobile connectivity by bridging terrestrial and satellite networks into one seamless, intelligent system.

As industries increasingly rely on mobility, automation, and real-time data, uninterrupted connectivity is no longer a nice-to-have; it is mission-critical. OIQ was founded with a clear goal: to ensure constant, reliable connectivity for mobile assets, wherever they operate.

“Autonomous vehicles can’t afford to lose connectivity. With AI-powered smart switching, we ensure they stay connected wherever they go.” — Joe Euteneuer, CEO, OrbitsIQ Global

Bridging terrestrial and satellite networks with AI

Today’s mobile systems typically rely on either cellular or satellite networks, often resulting in dropped connections, latency, or coverage gaps. OIQ addresses this challenge through AI-driven predictability and smart switching, automatically transitioning between terrestrial and satellite networks to maintain continuous connectivity.

This approach enables uncompromised digital applications, even in remote, low-coverage, or highly dynamic environments, while remaining network-agnostic and scalable across regions.

Enabling key industries: agriculture, transportation, and automotive

During the interview, Joe highlighted OIQ’s focus on sectors where connectivity reliability directly impacts safety, efficiency, and sustainability. These include agriculture, transportation, and automotive; particularly autonomous and semi-autonomous systems such as self-driving tractors, forklifts, barges, and connected vehicles.

OrbitsIQ Global has already tested its connectivity software with leading automotive manufacturers and is currently developing a plug-and-play hardware unit that can be seamlessly integrated into vehicles, tractors, or trucks.

“Connectivity should just work. We’re building it so vehicles are connected the moment they roll off the production line.”

Global expansion with a strong European foundation

Headquartered in Luxembourg, with teams across Europe and security operations in the United States, OrbitsIQ Global is initially focused on scaling across Europe and the U.S., with plans to expand into Asia and additional global markets.

The company’s modular product approach allows customers to start with core connectivity and add advanced features such as enhanced security layers, capacity, and speed, ensuring solutions remain both flexible and affordable.

What’s next

Looking ahead, OrbitsIQ Global’s priority is adoption: enabling customers, partners, and manufacturers to experience the strength and reliability of its technology firsthand, and ultimately embedding seamless connectivity directly into vehicles at the factory level.

As mobility becomes increasingly autonomous, connected, and data-driven, OrbitsIQ Global is positioning itself at the foundation of this transformation, ensuring that wherever vehicles move, connectivity follows.
