Janssen x OIQ — Reliable Connectivity at Dutch Border

Reliable Network Coverage for Real-Time Updates to Customers

Client Challenge

  • Connectivity gaps while operating across rural, suburban, and forested regions, resulting in unstable terrestrial (TN) performance and occasional service degradation

  • Conditions disrupted digital workflows, increased operational complexity, and made it difficult to ensure consistent telemetry and remote monitoring

  • They required a solution that could intelligently maintain uptime, avoid false switching, and seamlessly fall back to satellite (NTN) when TN signal quality deteriorated

Deployment Overview

  • MOVE was deployed across six test campaigns with Janssen between July and September 2025
  • Use Case: Ensuring stable, intelligent connectivity for mobile assets and operational field teams
  • Integration: AI-assisted WAN switching with LTE/5G and Starlink NTN fallback

  • Test Locations: Rural highways, suburban corridors, and urban 5G regions across Southern Germany
  • Test Duration: ~50 hours of field and lab testing

  • Outcome: Validated TN stability (~97%), controlled NTN fallback (~3%), and predictable latency across all sessions
